» Real Housewife Teresa Giudice Says Four Kids Is Enough
Posted by admin • Posted: April 25, 2010 • 0

When it comes to having more children, Teresa Giudice is pretty clear.

“I’m done,” the Real Housewives of New Jersey star said in an interview with reporters on Tuesday. “Would my husband want to have a another child? Yes! He keeps saying let’s have another one. We make such beautiful babies we should go for another one. I’m like, ‘Are you crazy?’”

Even her Housewives pals — Dina and Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita — don’t believe that Giudice, who is mom to Gia, 9, Gabriella, 5, Milania, 4, and Adriana, 7 months, is done yet. “The girls even think I’m going to go again,” she said. “I’m like, ‘No, I’m done! Four is good.’”

And Giudice says she’s glad she has all girls — even if her husband Joe wants a son. “If I’d had a boy, I would have felt bad,” Giudice says. “I would have felt like I needed to give him a brother.”

» Teresa and Dina Have No Regrets
Posted by admin • Posted: April 21, 2010 • 0

New Jersey’s high-maintenance ladies of drama and gossip will return to television for season 2 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Two of the stars of the series, Teresa Guidice and Dina Manzo, sat down with us to discuss the new season and what fans can expect to see after season one’s explosive finale that drew more viewers than any of the other Housewives shows.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” follows sisters (who happen to be married to brothers) Caroline and Dina Manzo, their sister-in-law, Jacqueline Laurita, family friend Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub.

And of course, everyone remembers the infamous table flip that happened in the season one finale that left everyone laughing for weeks. Are there any regrets? Not from Teresa, who answers, “No, not at all. I don’t have any regrets because as you saw throughout the show, she did a lot of things to me and I kept my mouth shut. So, it was like a buildup and I finally I just couldn’t take her no more.”

She adds: “She did a lot of things off scene and on the scene that you guys saw that got me to that boiling point and then I was just done with her. And I never did that before. It was the first time that I’ve ever done that. Do I regret it? Not at all. And would I do it again? I guess if somebody would get me to that point, I guess I would.”

Dina’s role on the reality series may have come as a tough choice to have her life under a microscope for all of the world to see, but the series has definitely given a boost to her charity, Project LadyBug. She tells AHN, “It’s really primarily why I decided ultimately to do this show. It’s helped it tremendously. While things got crazy and it was kind of a dark time in my life filming, I don’t regret it at all because Project LadyBug has really taken off. I say that the show has given her her wings.”

As for what’s up next for season two, Teresa and Dina both laugh and tell us that we’ll just have to watch to see what is in store next for the infamous ladies of Jersey.

Fans can expect to see a whole new season of drama, laughs and high-society soirees when season 2 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” premieres on Monday, May 3 at 10 pm ET.

» Teresa Giudice bringing her Italian cooking flair to Clifton
Posted by admin • Posted: April 14, 2010 • 0

Eat spaghetti and still fit into your skinny jeans!

To many of us, “diet” is a four-letter word. And rightfully so. Starving yourself thin or keeping track of each bite is no way to live. So what’s a girl with skinny jean dreams supposed to do?

Teresa Giudice has the answer. In fact, she was born with it. The first-generation Italian-American mom of four and svelte star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey credits her knockout figure to her Old World upbringing. And now, in her fun, encouraging, and budget-friendly cookbook, she skewers the myth that looking fabulous has to be a chore.

In Skinny Italian: Eat It and Enjoy It-Live La Bella Vita and Look Great Too! she reveals how to:

* substitute tedious meal plans with simple, flavorful recipes
* choose fresh, flavorful ingredients instead of counting calories
* slow down and enjoy a faster metabolism
* replace starvation with celebration by adopting an Italian attitude to cooking, eating, and entertaining
* love food, love eating, and still love your body afterward

Teresa shows how anyone can master the cornerstones of Italian cuisine. Learn how to make six different tomato sauces from scratch, how to choose and use the right olive oil, and how to prepare over 60 Giudice family recipes straight from Salerno. From Gorgeous Garlic Shrimp to Beautiful Biscotti, you’ll want to make these sumptuous recipes again and again. Discover how easy and economical wholesome, homemade cooking can be.

Skinny Italian is not a diet book. It’s an “eat it and enjoy it” book.

Join Teresa at Barnes & Noble in Clifton and find out how being gorgeous can be a sumptuous side effect to living la bella vita.

» Real Housewives: Teresa’s Take on Forgiving Friends
Posted by admin • Posted: April 9, 2010 • 0

Teresa Giudice knows how to keep it classy — just don’t tell her to pay attention, puh-lease. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is flipping the tables on the ladies of The Real Housewives of New York by sounding off on season 3 of their show. In this post, Teresa shares her thoughts on when it’s appropriate (and when it’s not) to bury the hatchet with a feuding friend:

This was definitely the best episode of this season of The Real Housewives of New York City so far!

So much drama! I was totally sucked into it and couldn’t believe the show was over so quick! I can’t wait for next week (although, spoiler alert, I think Bethenny is pregnant).

It started with our mom-to-be walking across the Brooklyn Bridge with Ramona, who went on the attack right away. Ramona called Bethenny a “press monger” and said that she was “self-serving” and that she had no friends and would probably mess up her relationship with Jason. Wow. I’ll give her points for in-your-face honesty, but that was pretty brutal. I will say, though, that with your close friends, you can tell it like it is, apologize if you cross the line — like Ramona did — and then you’re fine. Even though Bethenny was crying, by the end of the walk, they had made up and moved on. I thought that was the best example of a true friendship I’ve seen all season.

I don’t care who you are, where you live, if you’re on TV or not, you’re gonna get into disagreements with your friends and family. To pretend like you never argue with anyone is so fake. The show is real. People fight. But usually, especially if you’re good friends with a long history, you make up.

Which brings us back (again, again, again!) to Jill and Bethenny. For the love of all that is holy, the two of them need to get over it already! I cannot believe we have watched this simmer for six weeks. I cannot believe they still hate each other so badly (their blog comments about each other on bravotv.com are not very nice).
